When you look at poverty....

How are your eyes?

Are they wide, unbelieving, American eyes?
Or do they smile and crinkle around the edges?

Are they the eyes of a stranger, a foreigner, an outsider?
Or are they the eyes of one who sits down at the table, eats all the food and washes the dishes in the river afterward?

When you look at poverty, do your eyes reveal disgust behind a forced smile?
Or do they convey warmth, and love, and a desire to hug the hearts of his neighbors?

When you look at poverty, how are your eyes?

Will you change that?
